Mi TV may debut in India on Valentine's Day Image: Xiaomi
Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi Note 5 in India on February 14, but the Chinese tech giant may pack yet another surprise on Valentine's Day by releasing the Mi Tv in India. A teaser video posted on Xiaomi India's Twitter handle seems to indicate that the company may be finally releasing their television line-up in India.
Xiaomi has already sent out invites for a launch event at noon on February 14, and there have been enough links and leaks to indicate that the Redmi Note 5 will be launched at the event. On Monday, Xiaomi put out a Tweet teasing a surprise on Valentine's Day.
"Mi fans! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? #WhatIsThat Something wonderful is about to happen this Valentine's Day. Stay tuned!" reads the Twitter copy. It might very well have been a teaser for the Redmi Note 5, but the promo shows a really thin screened device that does seem too thin to be a smartphone. Take a look.

The glimpses of the device in the video do look like the Mi TV. It was earlier reported that Xiaomi may be in talks with Jio to sell Mi TVs in India exclusively.
However, even if Xiaomi ends up launching the Mi TV on February 14, it's still unclear whether or not Reliance Jio will be involved.
