Asia's biggest FIFA gaming tournament — the Asian Football Gaming Championship (AFGC) — is about to begin. The best FIFA 18 players in the continent will descend on Singapore for the grand finale set to be held from July 13-15 at the famous Marina Square. The event is being organised by the Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA).

The tournament doesn't only offer the title of Asia's best but also has a prize pool is $2500 (Rs 1,75,000 approx) up for grabs. Additionally, the top two from AFGC will be invited to watch French football champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) playing their pre-season in Singapore from July 25 to August 1.

The tournament will be of particular interest to India with the country's first major international triumph in FIFA coming at the same event last year when Kartikeya Behl won the 2017 edition. This year, all eyes will be on Kartikeya's title defence but he will face some stiff competition from some of the best in the business.
