SnapChat has rolled out a new feature dubbed Custom Stories to make it easier for the social media app users to share their stories. The new feature will let users invite friends and share stories centring around major events, trips, birthday parties or a new baby story just for the family, for instance.
Custom Stories will also let you customise the visibility of the story to make sure no stalker can have a access to the content. Alongside, you can also Geofence a custom story to make it visible to the users currently in that particular location.
To create a new story, all you need to do is tap on the “Create Story” icon on the top-right corner of the Stories page. Like other stories, customised stories too will disappear after 24 hours. But if someone contributes to the story, it will remain for one more day.
Unlike Facebook, SnapChat is meant mostly for the millennials with a huge presence of international celebrities. But recently, SnapChat has been with an image fiasco triggered by an alleged comment by Snap CEO Evan Spigel.
