Samsung to launch mobile phones with bendable display Youtube
The latest rumours doing the rounds speak of smartphone leader Samsung working hard on a foldable device.
Speculations apart, a new report claims that the smartphone won’t be launched before 2019. Asserting the news about its availability, Kim Tae-woong, display principal engineer, Samsung has added that the current devices with tiny bezels and large displays are high in demand.
Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have minimized the bezels and offer much better screen to body ratio than any of the firm’s previous handsets.
Another analyst Chung Won-seok from HI Investment and Securities has said Samsung will release its foldable smartphone in 2019 because the company is doing well with its latest bezel-less smartphones. The company will prefer to continue with such smartphones until the demand keeps high on these devices. Once the demand drops, Samsung will introduce the next big thing in technology—a foldable smartphone.
