Samsung Galaxy Note 9, due to be launched around August or September 2018, is all set to be the South Korean giant's next big release this year and speculation about the upcoming flagship has already started coming to the fore. According to user-created renders, the Note 9 may come with features like triple rear cameras and under-the-display fingerprint sensor.

Samsung launched their first two flagships of the year with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Samsung Galaxy S9+ back in February with the focus on a 'reimagined camera'. The South Korean giant may look to carry forward the trend with the Note 9.

The render, posted on Chinese social media site Weibo, shows the Note 9 more or less sticking to the design language initiated with last year's Galaxy Note 8, including the almost bezelless display, albeit with even thinner bezels. The Note 9 is expected to come with a dual-camera setup in the back like the Galaxy S9+, but the render shows it to be incorporating three cameras on the back. There are also LED lights lining the camera module, which may be meant to work as the flash.

The Huawei P20, due to launch in a few weeks, is expected to be the first smartphone to come out with three cameras on the back. Nokia is also reportedly working on a penta-lens camera setup for their upcoming flagship, to be released later this year.

The render also shows the dedicated fingerprint sensor has been done away with in favour of an under-the-display scanner. The UD fingerprint sensor was introduced by the Vivo X20 UD and is expected to be a common feature in future smartphones.

The renders still remain uncorroborated and it's advisable to take them with a pinch of salt. However, user-generated renders have turned out to be an accurate mirror to the final product on certain occasions in the past.

Not much is known about the Note 9 as of yet, but it's expected to come with a bezelless 6.2-inch display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc or the Exynos 9810, like the S9 and S9+. The device is likely to incorporate 6GB or 8GB of RAM and come with the trademark S-pen.
