PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) stunned the gaming community last year with its massive success on PC and consoles. But it seems like the Battle Royale phenomenon is ruling the mobile platform, too. Tencent and PUBG Corporation have announced that PUBG mobile has surpassed 10 million daily active users around the world and that, too, excluding China.

ICYMI, the mobile version of the game released on March 19 for iOS and Android, reached the landmark in just over a month. It is also the most downloaded mobile game in over 100 countries.

Since its release in 2017, PUBG has amassed nearly 32 million players on PC and Xbox combined, making it one of the most-played online games.

In addition to this, PUBG is also the only game nominated for two awards — Best Breakthrough Hit and Best Community Building Game — at the 2018 Google Play awards.
