After comfortably wrapping up the Ligue 1 with six games to spare, French football giant Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are planning to bring the celebrations to India, with the gaming community in focus. PSG have announced a FIFA event in India to promote PSG eSports — the gaming wing of the club.

The event will kick off at LXG India, Bangalore, on May 6 followed by the next round in Delhi later this month. The winners of the tournament will qualify for the national event, which gives them a shot at watching PSG live in Singapore during the International Champions Cup in July. They will also get official PSG merchandise sent from Paris.

PSG's eSports team is one of the biggest eSports FIFA teams in the world and boasts of players like Rocky, who was a top player in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) for FIFA 17. He has won over $1,70,000 in prize money till now. Other players on the roster include Fiddle Gordon Thornsberry from USA, two-time Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) champion Daxe Lucas Cuillerier from France, Rafael Fortes from Brazil and many more.
