The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition smartphone went on sale in India on Tuesday, starting at 12pm IST. The device will be available on the official OnePlus India website and Amazon for now but is expected to be made available in OnePlus Experience stores and Croma retail stores starting June 3. The special edition has been priced at Rs 44,999.
Citibank credit and debit card users will get a flat Rs 2,000 cashback on every purchase and all major banks are also giving the option of no cost EMI for up to three months. IDEA subscribers too can avail of a Rs 2,000 cashback and dedicated insurance on purchasing the device.
All buyers will be eligible for a 12-month complimentary accidental damage insurance from Servify as well as Celartrip benefits on flight and hotel bookings worth up to Rs. 25,000. Buyers purchasing the device through Amazon will get a Prime Video gift card worth Rs 250 and discounts of Rs 500 on Kindle ebooks.
To recall, the OnePlus 6 was officially launched for India on May 17 and the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants went on open sale on May 22. The Avengers Special Edition comes with a special Avengers-themed design.

OnePlus and Disney have partnered to launch the special Avengers Limited Edition. The device will come with a carbon black textured back panel complemented by OnePlus and Avengers logos in gold on the back. The alert slider on the side also adds to the gold highlights of the device. It seems that the Avengers edition may come with a special Iron Man-themed back cover resembling Tony Stark's Mark 50 Iron Man suit's helmet.
The device will also give users access to five exclusive Avengers wallpapers. The Avengers Edition will have the same hardware as the vanilla OnePlus 6 and come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The box also contains special Avengers Infinity Medals. There are six different variants dedicated to specific Avengers but you can only get one with each device. Other than the above mentioned changes, the Avengers edition's internals are exactly the same as the regular OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 6 specifications
The OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch fullHD+ Full Optic AMOLED display with 1080x2280 resolution. The screen has a 19:9 aspect ratio and boasts 84 per cent screen-to-body ratio, courtesy of an Apple iPhone X-like top notch to house the front camera and sensors. Users have the option to hide the notch through the settings menu. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and features the powerful Adreno 630 GPU. The OnePlus 6 will be available in three RAM/Storage combinations, namely 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
On the camera front, the device comes with a 16MP+20MP rear camera setup equipped with OIS, EIS, HDR, Portrait Mode and a dual-LED flash. The device is capable of Slow Motion video recording at 480 fps. The phone comes with a Smart Capture mode to automatically optimise camera settings according to conditions, as well as a native video editing app.
The 16MP front shooter has EIS and supports Portrait mode powered bu advanced AI algorithm to correctly judge the depth of field (DoF). OnePlus claims that the front camera can be used to unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds using Face Unlock feature. The fingerprint sensor returns and is situated just under the vertically placed dual cameras on the back. The device also packs a 3,300mAh battery capable of Dash Charge.
The dual-SIM (Nano) phone will ship with an OxygenOS 5.1 ROM based on Android 8.1 Oreo but an Android P Beta build has also been made available.

OnePlus's latest flagship will be priced at Rs 34,999 for the base 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant and Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version. A Silk White colour variant of the smartphone will go on sale from June 5.
