Brazil and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) football star Neymar Jr is a huge fan of PUBG (Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds) video game and the world's most expensive superstar wants his personal server. Don't believe us? Here's proof.

Neymar's love for CS:GO is well-documented and the former Barcelona player has been known to support Brazilian CS:GO team SK Gaming, and has even met up with the team, including eSports superstar Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo, to play the game. But it seems like Neymar has found a new love in the gaming world in form of PUBG- the new yet hugely popular online multiplayer game which has been taking the world by storm.

For the uninitiated, PUBG was released on March 2017 through a beta program on Steam and became an instant hit with millions of players downloading and playing the game. It took PUBG less than a year to eclipse popular classics like Dota 2 and CS:GO to become the most played Steam game in the world and started rivaling popular MOBA title League of Legends in Twitch when it came to the viewership of gameplay videos.

According to reports, PUBG had around 30 million players worldwide across all platforms after the release of PUBG version 1.0 for PC in December of 2017. And don't be surprised to find Neymar amongst these 30 million spending hours on the game every day.

Neymar's new gaming passion was revealed when Neymar posted a picture of a birthday gift he got from his sponsor Redbull for his birthday on February 5. The gift hamper consisted of a number of customised PUBG goodies, including a frying pan (in-game item) signed by Brenden Greene, the brains behind PUBG.

The football star had earlier tweeted to Brenden asking for his own PUBG server, to which the PUBG creative director responded with a GIF of Neymar celebrating.

Neymar responded again with a reminder for a server. We are yet to hear back from Brenden yet.

It's quite unlike one of the biggest sports stars in the world to ask for something twice unless he really wants it. Right? So, don't be surprised if you find Neymar hitting you with a frying pan in your next PUBG session, until he gets his own server at least.
