As promised, Huawei has finally launched its latest smartphone Honor 6X in India. The mid-budget smartphone was originally launched at CES this year and slated to launch in India soon.
Following the success of P9 and Honor Mate 8, Honor 6X is an effort to bring the dual-camera devices in the budget smartphone segment.
The Honor 6X will be available in two RAM variants- 3GB and 4GB and will be available in Gold, Silver and Gray colours. The 3GB version will be an Amazon India exclusive and will be available at Rs 12,999, while the 4GB RAM edition can be purchased for Rs 15,999. The registration for the 3GB RAM edition will start today and will go on till January 31. The first flash sale will take place on February 2 at 2 PM.
Both the editions will be available with 10% cashback if you buy it with a SBI Credit card. The Honor 6X buyers will also get 14GB worth 4G data if you purchase 1GB data from Airtel.
For its price, the Honor 6X will offer a 5.5-inch display overlaid with 2.5D glass as a layer of extra protection. Like Huawei’s latest smartphones, Honor 6X also comes with an all metal finish.
Under the hood, the 6X packs a homemade octa-core Kirin 655 SoC and a 3,340 mAh battery.
The device runs on Android 7 Nougat OS out-of-the-box and packs a dual camera sensor on the back. Out of which, a 12 MP sensor takes care of every minute details of the subject, while a 2 MP camera helps it to offer DSLR like bouquet effects in the resulting images.
