Huawei Honor V9 debuts with 6GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery

The smartphone is available both in 4GB and 6GB RAM edition

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has been making decent smartphones lately. And the latest from the brigade is its Honor V9, a worthy successor of its latest successful device, Honor Mate 9.

The metal-clad Honor V9 boasts a 5.7-inch 2K (1440 x 2560 pixels) display overlaid with a 2.5D glass for added protection.

Under the hood, the Honor V9 packs a home-baked octa-core Kirin 960 SoC and available in two memory variants- 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage and a 6GB RAM edition with 128GB storage. Both the devices also come with a micro-SD card to expand its storage further.

The device also retains the dual 12MP lenses as primary camera, out of which one sensor is dedicated to click monochrome images. There are a circular multi-coloured LED flash along with a fingerprint sensor as well.

The Honor V9 also retains the 3.5mm audio out port, even though it has a USB Type-C 2.0 port.  Huawei claims Honor V9 can capture 3D images and can also help to create your 3D models for printing.

Available in black, gold, blue and red, the Honor V9’s 4GB RAM edition is available at Rs 25,304 (2,599 YUAN), while the 6GB RAM edition is available for Rs 34,067 (3,499 YUAN) roughly.
