Huawei's sub-brand Honor on Tuesday launched their latest flagship — Honor 10 — for the Indian market at an event in London. The Android smartphone with 6GB RAM goes on sale in Flipkart today at a price of Rs 32,999.
The Honor 10 was launched last month in China and was offered in two variants — 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. But the company has decided to skip the 64GB variant in India and will be only selling the 128GB storage version.
The Honor 10 packs a 5.84-inch full-HD+ FullView display with 1080x2280 resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen comes with an Apple iPhone X-like top notch. The device is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC working in tandem with 6GB RAM.
The smartphone features a 24MP+16MP dual-camera setup with AI features on the back. Its AI functionalities enable advanced imaging features like real-time scene recognition, 3D Portrait Lighting and HDR. Huawei is marketing the optics as AI Camera. The front camera houses a 24MP sensor.
The device also boasts a 7.1 multi-channel Hi-Fi audio chip with support for multi-channel sound effects. The dual-SIM (nano) smartphone ships with an EMUI 8.1 ROM based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone packs a 3,400mAh battery and comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colour variants with gradient finish.
