2017 turned out to be a fine year for gamers with some terrific titles like Forza 7, Call of Duty: World at War II, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and Mass Effect: Andromeda pushing the boundaries of digital entertainment in various ways. And it seems like 2018 is set to be another vintage year, with some massive releases lined up.

January has already seen some big releases so far and a few more interesting releases in store and February is set to continue the trend with some promising titles, including the highly-anticipated Metal Gear: Survive from Konami.

T2 Online lists a look at some of the must-not-miss games of the month.

EA Sports UFC 3

Release date: February 2

Developer: EA Canada

The famous MMA fighting game is coming back after a gap of two years. With a full roster of current superstars and legends from the past to pick from, and the learning curve made much easier to help amateurs pick up the game mechanics, the third rendition of the game promises a lot. So, ready to step into the octagon?

Sniper Elite 4

Release date: February 13

The game promises to be action-packed and the publishers have already published the largest and most diverse environment ever created in a WWII game. Each campaign is set to be bigger and better than the previous editions of Sniper Elite.

Kingdom Come: Deliverence

It is a period based RPG game set in and around 1403 AD. A lot of research was put into the creation to recreate Czech Republic from the time period. The game immerses players in an immersive adventure with an open-world Holy Roman Empire as the backdrop. There are multiple paths a player can adopt to realise the set objectives and complete quests, and all of them donot involve utilizing any form of violence unlike other games.

Metal Gear: Survive

Release date: February 20

Developer: Konami Digital Entertainment

Publisher: Konami

The latest rendition of the cult-classic Metal Gear series is expected to undergo huge changes both in presentation and gameplay. The title will be the first Metal Gear title to be developed after the legendary Hideo Kojima's departure from Konami in late 2015. Whether or not Konami manages to hold onto the successful fabric created by Kojima and build on it remains to be seen.
