Activision is one of the oldest developers in the video gaming industry.

It first started making game cartridges for Atari 2600 consoles back in 1980 and then went on to become one of the biggest companies in the industry.

Call of Duty, one of the most popular video game series in the world, is developed by them.

The next edition in the series, called Black Ops 4, is slated to release on October 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. But the more important news is that it will come with a Battle Royale mode.

The success of recent Battle Royale games such as Fortnite and PUBG has surely inspired other companies to follow suit. Fortnite and PUBG are so popular that they are played by one-third of gamers around the world.

Call of Duty has 200 million players across all Black Ops titles. While PUBG and Fortnite are kid-friendly games played on mobiles, Call of Duty is meant for adult audiences as it has graphic violence.
