Why on earth was #agarbatti trending on Twitter? Tweeple had a crazy time trying to solve the mystery

We really don't know what triggers the creativity of Tweeple in general, but like us, if you look at the trends regularly, you'll be amazed to see the patterns in Twitterland. This weekend, the most unexpected hashtag on desi Twitter-sphere was #agarbatti, and we have no clue who started it.

Within a few hours of this trending topic, desi keyboard warriors were debating the pros and cons of incense sticks and how they may or may not cause cancer. It's all very hazy, how did we reach this part. Exploring further, we found out that a video posted by RJ Raunac to stop air pollution caused by agarbattis could have been a possible explanation for this hashtag trend.

Strangely, Twitter users were quick enough to lap up the opportunity and they started discussing different ways of using agarbattis at home. All of a sudden, there were jokes and memes and people were damn confused about the trending hashtag. Check out some funny tweets around this below.
