Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff on Koffee With Karan Image: YouTube
The two things that stood out in that infamous episode from Koffee With Karan (KWK) with Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff was Jackie's don't-know-where-he-got-it-from accent and his undying love for Madhuri Dixit. So when Karan asked who according to him was the woman who broke a lot of hearts when she got married, Jackie instantly said, “Madhuri Dixit. Oh f*** why did she have to get married?”
When asked who is the sexy siren of Bollywood, Jackie simply muffled a lovelorn sigh and said, “It's always been Madhuri. Maybe I can't see beyond her!” Even his favourite Khan was in fact Madhuri. And sometimes Karan didn't even need to complete his questions, and Jackie's answers would already be — yes you've guessed it right — Madhuri! Smitten much.
By the end of the rapid fire round the nation knew that Jackie had always harboured a crush on his Khalnayak costar. But little did we know that the only thing burning in that fire was Tiger Shroff.
Cut to a press conference held yesterday to announce Tiger Shroff as the voice of Spider-Man in the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Amid questions about his experience on dubbing the film, T2 Online asked the Baaghi actor, if Tiger Shroff is Spider-Man in real life, who is his Mary Jane? We have to admit we were expecting him to say Disha Patani but that would require him to accept it that they're dating. But what he said left us flabbergasted. “Madhuri Dixit,” Tiger said coquettishly with a goofy smile.
What? Madhuri Dixit is Mary Jane to Tiger Shroff's Spider-Man? Turns out the father-son duo are head-over-heels in love with the Dhak Dhak girl, and while Tiger kept a low key on KWK letting his father's obsession shine through, he was actually only waiting for someone to throw this question at him so he could come clean.
Is it just a coincidence that both the father and the son (and the holy spirit) are obsessed with the same woman?
Well, if this was Game Of Thrones, and we were in Westeros right now, it wouldn't be, but here in this realm, it is — for want of a better word — damn creepy. We wonder what Ayesha Shroff has to say about this?
