And then there was WiFi Image: Twitter
Someone once said, "Home is where the WiFi connects automatically." And damn right they were. It seems to also be the place where creativity flourishes. All WiFi-related.
Twitter is paying a tribute, so to speak, to the one thing because of which it survives — WiFi — by calling it names. Err... not in a bad way, in a nice, respectful way. You know, like the Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains way.
After all, your WiFi is the Connector of Realms, Slayer of Boredom, and the Enabler of Netflix, is it not?
It all started when Alan Henry asked the Old Gods and New of Twitter to help him set up his WiFi. "Hey Twitter! I’m getting Internet in my new apartment on Monday so I need a new WiFi name! Last time y’all came up with ‘Carrying The Bandwidth’ — I’m thinking it’s time to change it up to something other than Newsies," he tweeted.
And Tweeple poured in to help. The results were, of course, some rather hilarious WiFi names.
Some pretty much summed up entire relationships.
And some were, well, a tad mean, you know.
Who let the dogs out?
But you gotta get creative with the names, man. Cuz if you don't, someone else will do it for you. And that could stink.
Are you thinking of renaming your WiFI? We are. And we've got just name. *sneakily changes name*
