If your girlfriend is a hardcore Deadpool fan, you better keep her away from Deadpool 2. Why so, you ask? Well, the nihilistic superhero does something or will ask your girlfriend to do something which might turn your world topsy-turvy.

To put it straight, in one of the scenes, Deadpool asks girls across the board to break up with their boyfriends. Now, that's reel, not real. But there's a certain woman who took Deadpool's words a bit too seriously. So much so, that she broke up with her boyfriend and that too on his birthday.

The poor lad, Josiah Thieman, shared the sad episode on Twitter.

"@VancityReynolds Deadpool 2 came out on my birthday and my girlfriend at the time saw it without me then broke up with me. I thought it would be the ultimate birthday gift but it turned out to be a disaster. :( I love you," he tweeted.

Ryan Reynolds aka Deadpool was quick enough to empathise with Josiah's loss. "There’s a scene in the film where Deadpool tells your girlfriend to break up with you. I didn’t think she’d take it seriously. I’m so sorry. Still friends?" tweeted Ryan.

In this day and age, pop culture rules the roost. And when it's about superheroes, you better keep the real away from reel. Seems like Josiah's girlfriend couldn't do that. But then, "Life is an endless series of train-wrecks with only brief, commercial-like breaks of happiness." Courtesy — Deadpool.
