The #FitnessChallenge is all the rage right now, but it's too mainstream for Rahul Gandhi. The Opposition's poster boy has thrown a different challenge to PM Narendra Modi, but his joke kind of fell flat — for obvious reasons.
It all started when sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore started a campaign, #HumFitTohIndiaFit, and tweeted a video of himself working out in his office and tagged Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli and Saina Nehwal to take the campaign further.
Kohli, in turn, nominated Modi, his wife Anushka Sharma and colleague MS Dhoni to take up the challenge.
The Indian PM, who is a fitness enthusiast, too, accepted the dare and tweeted that he would soon post his own video.
Gandhi threw a Fuel Challenge to Modi in response to the recent fuel price hike in the country. "Glad to see you accept the @imVkohli fitness challenge. Here’s one from me: Reduce Fuel prices or the Congress will do a nationwide agitation and force you to do so," he tweeted.
And trolls got some fodder for their next assignment. They challenged him to become the PM next year.
