Will Sansa ever get her happily ever after? Image: HBO
Marriages are made in heaven. Well, in the Game of Thrones universe, that's not true even one bit. Case in point: Sansa Stark's marriages.
The young Stark girl (played by Sophie Turner), who always wanted to marry a king, endured craziness in the form of to-be-husbands and husbands. While her betrothed Joffrey 'crazy ass' Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) treated Sansa like a squashed vegetable and played out his animalistic fantasies on her, psychopath Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) just crushed her soul but beat her (sometimes quite literally so) into the strong woman we witness later on.
The only good guys were hubby-to-be-but-never-wasLoras Tyrell (Finn Jones) and her first husband, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) — to whom she is most likely still married. We don't know whatever happened to that.

Now we are at the end game and speculation is rife that the Lady of Winterfell is likely to get married again. This time to a real nice guy. Redditors are speculating a union between Sansa and Gendry (Joe Dempsie), King Robert Baratheon's bastard.
Yeah, yeah, we know that according to fan theories, Gendry and Arya (Maisie Williams) are supposed to have a romantic track. But remember, the girl with no name never wants to be someone's wife.
Redditor VixToonsDesign – who has a lot of thoughts about the season eight spoilers, questions and theories – came up with this piece of theory.
“I keep hearing a lot about the possible love connection of Gendry and Arya and I hate it!! Arya's destiny was never to settle down and be a wife. However, that is something Sansa wanted. Sansa also wanted to marry King Robert's son to become Queen. So what if in S08 we have the lovely reunion of Gendry and Arya but Arya introduces Gendry to Sansa, a knowing smile on her face as Gendry is blown away by Sansa. The two hit it off and finally, Sansa finds herself with a decent guy and once he is made legit by Jon, Gendry is in line for the throne with his wife Sansa.” (sic)

Whoa! That seems plausible. And he is a real good guy, too. But this is GoT we're talking about. Could this be a match made in heaven?
If this happens, then they will make a power couple after King in the North Jon Snow (Kit Harington) legitimises Gendry. Plus, could Sansa be the younger Queen to take the Iron Throne in Maggie the Frog's prophecy? *thinking*
*Ramsay Snow/Bolton's voice: “If you think this has a happy ending, then you haven't been paying attention.”*

Dammit Ramsay, get out of our heads.
