Whoever said politics is boring should have watched Lok Sabha TV today to witness the really, really unexpected scene of Rahul Gandhi hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi playing on loop. Forget what critics have to say about Sairat vs Dhadak or who's dying next in Sacred Games Season 2 because RaGa's jaadu ki jhappi for PM Modi is what EPIC monsoon sessions in Lok Sabha look like.

Just when we were wondering what next after Pappu jokes and verbal diarrhoea from a certain section of Netizens flooded our SM timelines, the friendly HUG happened. Followed by a wink. Leaving a visibly confused and awkward PM on his chair. Yes, that's how RaGa ended things in the middle of a heated debate during the no-confidence motion in the lower house of the Parliament.

While the Gandhi scion sort of announced his arrival as the president of the Congress party with this 'swag' move, he reminded us of Baba (no, not Ramdev) from the Munna Bhai series who can be credited for winning the hearts of haters by hugging them left, right and centre. Did RaGa binge-watch Munna Bhai movies before he started for work or did he hear too many lovey-dovey ballads in his car, which inspired his emotional speech and dramatic hug followed by a cheeky wink? The nation wants to know.

Anyhow, our weekend was made as we couldn't believe this was really happening. Haters gonna hate, but all those who still believe in the power of love are calling Mr G a rockstar. Bravo RaGa, for shutting the trolls who called you Pappu and giving meme makers shitloads of work for the weekend.

Now that it's raining memes and jibes around the 'hug and wink' episode, we bring you the best ones to kickstart your weekend.
