Much before the age of Veere and the likes, existed a show about real female camaraderie that changed the face of TV for good. When Sex and the City premiered in June 1998, it ushered in an era of frank conversations about relationships and sex in modern times. The show is celebrating its 20 years in 2018, but it still happens to be a top favourite on our binge-watch list.

When Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her three friends, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) entered our lives in the late '90s and introduced us to the New York lifestyle, we just couldn't stop following them everywhere. These bold and beautiful ladies showed us the way to cherish self-love without any guilt.

The four girlfriends taught us the real meaning of being strong, independent and fabulous —and gave us some awesome nuggets of wisdom to deal with a crisis. When we had no one to discuss our love problems with, we went to Carrie and she doled out the most sensible advice. While Samatha's unapologetic sass, Miranda's practical opinions, and Charlotte's cheeky approach were just perfect to deal with the world.

Till date, everything that we learnt from these sassy ladies comes in handy IRL. We compiled the 10 best quotes from our SATC girlfriends to remind you old wisdom never fails you. Pretty legit, right?
