Monsoon is here. Technically, it shouldn't have been here in Mumbai for at least a couple more weeks, but... you know we live the fast life, so the rains, too, wanted to hit the ground sooner.

But much before petrichor could engulf you, or you could get drenched to your heart's content, the rains hit social media. Umm, that's the route it takes.

There's an unsaid ritual that all Mumbaikars follow — one drop of rain and #MumbaiRains must trend like crazy. Sachhi! But it did rain pretty hard last night in Mumbai, and if the predictions are anything to go by, this weekend looks darn crazy. But take it with a pinch of salt. You know how weather predictions work in our country.

Mumbaikars are setting the mood for the rains just about right. P.S. It can't get more real than this. So grab your cup of tea and enjoy.

True that!

That's mandatory.

Hahaha. Sunil, FTW!

Ah, Mahesh. That's every effin' time, though. Nothing new.

Isko laga dala toh life... let it be.

Yes, Rahul. Wish we could say the same.

More like Mumbaikars in five days.

Of course, dear!

Hahhaah! Thank you indeed!

At least you got a seat, dude!

Waiting for a political leader to make the same statement.

Sucks big time. And yeah, add footwear, clean clothes, undergarments and plastic bags to the equation. Basically, a suitcase of #MumbaiRains essentials.

Cuz, those are real problems, too?

Apt!

The never-ending cycle.

Hey Uber/Ola, why you do this?

Time to roll out 'em boats.

Sorry, dude. No! We can't.

We are waiting for more of such GOLD tweets. Till then, keep that love pouring in with #MumbaiRains.
