Even fitness freak Virat Kohli couldn’t hold himself back from digging into a plate of Hyderabadi biryani.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore  (RCB) captain was in the City of Nawabs (and kebabs) for an Indian Premier League (IPL) tie against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

And before taking the field on Monday, Kohli visited his teammate Mohammed Siraj’s house for dinner. There, a sumptuous Mughlai platter awaited him, including the lip-smacking Hyderabadi biryani.

On Monday, RCB lost another game to the Kane Williamson-led side, who are at the top on the points table right now. RCB failed to chase a 147-run target and lost the match by five runs. Kohli managed to score 39 runs off 30 deliveries.

RCB’s chances of making it to the play-offs are becoming increasingly bleak. After all, they’ve lost four of their last five IPL matches, including Monday's tie. They next play Delhi Daredevils on Saturday.
