Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have kept a lower-than-usual profile over the last few weeks. While the India captain was rested for India's Nidahas Trophy campaign and kept his public appearances pretty limited, Anushka has been busy shooting for Yash Raj Films' Sui Dhaaga with Varun Dhawan in Delhi. However, India's favourite couple has been spotted together at the British High Commission in the capital.
Virat seems to have flown to Delhi to spend some quality time with Anushka and the British Embassy was on the agenda. The timing of the visit seems interesting with Virat having decided to play County Cricket in England after the IPL 2018, in order to prepare for the upcoming England series starting in August. It's highly possible that the visit might have been related to visa, work permit or other relevant paperwork.
The British High Commissioner Dominic Asquith tweeted a picture of himself with Virat and joked about taking lessons from the Indian ace after his dismal performance at the Commonwealth Cricket Cup. Check out the pictures.
"Having scored a duck at the Commonwealth Cricket Cup I felt a spot of coaching from a pro would be in order! So good to have coffee today with @imVkohli. Virat will return to the cricket field to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2018, starting on April 7. Following the campaign, he's expected to fly to England to represent Surrey in the English domestic country cricket.
