The biggest moment in Afghanistanโ€™s cricket history is here.

The team, led by Asghar Stanikzai, is playing its first Test against India in Bengaluru. Also playing the game is Indian Premier League (IPL) sensation Rashid Khan, who took 21 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 season.

You might brush this match off as another walk in the park for Team India, but for connoisseurs of cricket, this day holds special importance. At lunch, India were 158-0 in 27 overs, with Shikhar Dhawan scoring a quick-fire hundred by taking the Afghan attack to the cleaners. Dhawan will be remembered as the first cricketer to score a Test century against Afghanistan. He also became the first Indian to score a century before lunch on Day One of a Test match.

Like us, Tweeple, too, can't keep calm and are flooding the microblogging site with tweets about the historic Test.
