There’s nothing Roger Federer cannot do. Turns out, he is also a decent cricketer.

During his round-of-16 Wimbledon face-off against France’s Adrian Mannarino, he did something probably no other tennis star has successfully attempted – playing a deft cricket shot, that too, during a Grand Slam tournament.

Mannarino casually returned the ball after Federer over-hit a backhand. And it was exactly then that the Swiss legend decided to exercise his not-so-well-known cricketing abilities. Trust us, it came from the meat of his racket.

While posting this clip on Twitter, Wimbledon also tagged the International Cricket Council.

The apex cricket body decided to have some fun and Photoshopped his name as the leading Test batsman on their rankings list.

Federer has now advanced to Wimbledon’s quarterfinals, where he is slated to play South Africa’s Kevin Anderson.
