Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo opened his new hotel, Pestana CR7 Lisboa, in the Portuguese capital yesterday. The 31-year-old flew in after Real Madrid’s stalemate against SD Eibar in La Liga to inaugurate his flagship hotel in front of a thronging mass of fans.

The night was a moment of personal achievement for Ronaldo, who has a lot of money invested in the hotel business. So far, he has opened two hotels in his nation and has plans for another two.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who also has his own line of apparel and fragrances, is always thinking about his life beyond football and his legacy. Even though he still has time to play, Ronaldo certainly won’t be left high and dry when his playing days are behind him.
