Rashid Khan is usually in the limelight for taking the Afghanistan cricket team to victory. This time around, he unexpectedly created a stir on the Internet by referring to Indian cricket commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle as 'Bro'.
Tweeple are not happy with Khan, because they think the age gap between the two isn't wide enough to have a bro code in place.
Soon after Khan’s exceptional performance against Bangladesh, Bhogle tweeted, saying, "Meanwhile @rashidkhan_19 has defended 9 off the last over to give Afghanistan a clean sweep over Bangladesh. Amazing result for Afghanistan and further proof of Rashid's phenomenal development."
To which Khan replied:
And here’s how the Twitter outburst took shape:
Rashid Khan has been on a roll of late. He’s the No 1 T20I bowler in the International Cricket Council’s rankings. And he had a major role to play in Afghanistan's battle against Bangladesh in the recent T20I series. He is currently gearing up for the historic one-off Test against India, which starts June 14 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
