Olympic runner Mo Farah made the most of the winter break in track and field by taking in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth at the Emirates stadium with his wife, Tania and former Gunner Jens Lehmann. Alexis Sanchez bagged a brace while Theo Walcott celebrated the birth of his son with a goal.
Following the final whistle, Farah met German World Cup winner Mesut Ozil, Premier League legend Petr Cech and other stars.
Farah, who is one of Britian’s most decorated runners of recent times, has been an Arsenal fan since childhood. He has even expressed an interest to join the club in some capacity once he is retired from the track.

Farah’s visit coincided with Arsene Wenger’s side breaking a string of three draws in all competitions. Arsenal loanee Jack Wilshere was in attendance too alongside Danny Welbeck, who did not miss out on the chance to rub it in to Wilshere when Arsenal ran out winners.
