FIFA 2018 World Cup: Tweeple troll Neymar for apparently overreacting against Switzerland

During yesterday's game, Neymar was tackled by Swiss players as many as 10 times

The power-packed Spanish squad somewhat chickened out against Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a hat-trick to give Portugal an honourable draw to start their 2018 World Cup campaign. Then came another upset – Lionel Messi missed a penalty against Iceland to run into a volley of trolls on social media.

And now, it’s Neymar’s turn to face the music.

As Brazil settled for a 1-1 draw against Switzerland in a Group E clash, Neymar suffered some severe social media bashing for seemingly overreacting in the wake of tackles that didn’t appear to be too harsh.

Although we cannot turn a blind eye to the fact that Neymar was fouled as many as 10 times during the match, there are people who don’t seem to be too convinced with Neymar's on-field antics.

In the other Group E clashes, Brazil face Costa Rica on June 22 and Serbia on June 27.
