Euro 2016 treated the fans and viewers to some wonderful scenes both on the pitch and off it. Sadly, it was not all smiles though. T2Online brings you the moments to forget from UEFA Euro 2016.

David Guetta

The DJ’s effort to make the tournament snazzy was an absolute disaster. His track This One’s For You was the worst theme song for any major tournament in a long time. His sets at the opening and closing ceremonies also made us wish UEFA had gotten someone other than Luka Modric’s wannabe doppelganger.

English Hooligans vs Russian Ultras

Brawls were taken to a new level at the Championships. The English fans had brutal clashes with their Russian counterparts in the streets of Marseille and later at the Stade Velodrome. The Russian Ultras attacked Welsh fans as well, making a home video on a GoPro in the process.

'Frustriano' Ronaldo

The Portuguese may have emerged as the Champions but their tournament did not start as planned. Iceland stifled CR7 & Co. before the post spoiled Ronaldo’s party against Austria. After scathing comments about Iceland’s mentality and a tiff with a journalist that involved throwing a microphone into a lake, we are glad that Portugal won the trophy.

Flared Up Croats

The game between Croatia and Czech Republic seemed like just another routine win for the Croats in Group D. Till a few fans decided to heat things up by setting off flares in the stands and subsequently throwing them on to the pitch. The match was stopped for a few minutes and it led to a lapse in concentration as the Croatians conceded a last minute penalty to give up a two goal lead.

English fans make a child chug beer for change

The worst moment of the Championships was caught on camera in Lille where the English supporters forced a destitute child to down a beer and smoke a cigarette in exchange for money.
