Arjun Tendulkar, son of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, shone for Mumbai as he picked up a five-wicket haul against Madhya Pradesh (MP).
Playing in the U-19 Cooch Behar trophy, Arjun was on song, skittling half of MP's batting line-up out in the second innings after his side had taken the lead in the first.
MP made 361 in their first essay, to which Mumbai responded with a score of 506. Arjun was instrumental for Mumbai in the second, restricting the opposition to 411 but could not win the match for his side, which ended in a draw.
While his father is regarded as one of the finest batsmen ever to have played the gentleman's game, Arjun has always gravitated to the ball and is a left-arm fast bowler.
Arjun had also bowled to current India skipper Virat Kohli at a net practice session during New Zealand's tour of India at the Wankhede and also apparently gave England's Jonny Bairstow a taste of his bowling with a toe-crushing yorker once.
