While the Indian fashion scene is dominated by bright tones, when it comes to red carpet trends in the West, shades of white and black are all-time favourites.

At the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, A-list celebrities are flaunting shades of white on the red carpet dos and aiming for a complete all-white look. Although it's not easy to pull off a top to toe white look, many designers are styling their celebrity clients in beautiful couture garments to nail the 'vision in white' theme.

On her first red carpet appearance this year, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone sported a dreamy white couture gown from designer Zuhair Murad's bridal collection. Whereas, actor Lupita Nyongo sizzled in a beautiful white Christian Dior ensemble. Notably, French actor Lea Seydoux wore a gorgeous white silk dress from Louis Vuitton, and actor Fan Bing Bing donned a feathery white dress from designer label Osman for a photo call. And, you can't miss the stunning white dress from Chanel that actor Julianne Moore donned for the Chopard's party at the Cannes festival.

Check out the five gorgeous all-white looks that celebs sported at the Cannes Film Festival this year, and tell us who wore it best in the comments below.
