A karela a day keeps fat away. Yes, karela or a bitter-gourd might leave a bitter aftertaste, but it keeps you healthy and fit. Don't believe us? Well, guess what helped Kareena Kapoor Khan get back in shape after pregnancy in no time? Yup, it's a karela, for lunch and dinner.

Bebo revealed this invaluable piece of information in an interview to Hindustan Times, when she said, "I have always been very fitness conscious. Everyone is saying I have lost weight so fast, but I have taken a year and a half. It has happened over time. Like I always say, feed me karela for lunch and dinner and I am happy."

So if you've been avoiding karela in your meals, stop that right now. Cuz, a karela will help you lose that extra fat around your waist.

Well, it's not just the green vegetable that makes you fit, you need to be happy, too. "Also, you have to find joy in smaller things in life, not just success. I am happiest when I am having coffee or a glass of wine with a friend and chatting," added Kareena.

Add to that the innumerable hours at the gym and you've got yourself a body that will make a million hearts skip a beat. Case in point: Bebo's look in Veere Di Wedding.

So there, you have it. The truth about Bebo's fitness, however bitter it may be.
