Musician duo Vishal-Shekhar never ceases to surprise you when it comes to making music. They've now collaborated with the British band, The Vamps, for the song Beliya. Incidentally, the song was recorded in London where the duo give the vocals an Indian touch.

The song is essentially a celebration of the two cultures. “It was super to work with the Vamps. They are good guys and extremely talented. We went in not really knowing each other, but in a few minutes of being there, they had taken the song that we had created for them, and added their own vibe to it. There was a comfort and joy to the sessions we did and that is something I think you can hear in the track. They really love India, especially the food and the music, while we really enjoy the music coming out of the UK, so we were all on the same page from the word go,” the duo sahred. Interestingly, Beliya has been initiated by Bottomline Media and Virgin EMI Records and it is the first of many collaborations to come.

"We had a great time recording with Vishal and Shekhar, and it was fun to try something different to what we are used to. We are really excited for everyone to hear the single. It was fun showing them around London and we hope they will return the favour next month when we visit Mumbai. India is a country we have wanted to visit since we started as a band, especially as we have such an incredible, loyal fan base there, so we can't wait to come over," said The Vamps.
