EMA 2017 gave us major wardrobe goals
The European Music Awards 2017 just had its biggest and bad-dest edition ever. It didn't just have an opening by Eminem, but also had Rita Ora in a bathrobe (no seriously), and YouTuber-turned-teen-icon Shawn Mendes winning almost every category, and Camilla Cabello's first major performance.
But let's talk about the red carpet style wins of this year's EMAs. From patchwork denim, crop tops, to kimonos, the EMAs 2017 saw some stellar sartorial and steal-able fashion. No, you can't buy a Balanciaga denim jacket that you saw some pop star wearing, but you can totally copy the look. You don't even need a bank balance like Justine Bieber's (not that any mere mortal had a bank balance like Bieber).
Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer set the EMA red carpet on fire in a mesh ensemble by Philosophy. Oh, and in case you didn't know — mesh is totally back. And you can go for mesh at your college fest or even a music festival, and you'll just need around Rs 2,000.
The mesh top (above) costs Rs 1,300, and the blingy shorts cost Rs 659.
Hip-hop icon and Kylie Jenner's rumoured baby daddy, Travis Scott, literally wore what you wear to college on hungover mornings or laundry day. In case you already weren't a fan of oversized denims, Travis's look will totally make you one.
Just pair some random cargo pants or shorts with a distressed graffiti denim jacket, which costs Rs 1,980.
Singer Julia Michaels legit owned a crop top and skirt on one of the most important music nights, and that alone commands all of our respect. Julia's look is millennial staple, and you have probably already worn it a hundred times.
Just pair your regular crop top with a leather skirt, and maybe some sneakers. The crop top (above) costs something around Rs 300, and the skirt costs Rs 899.
Instagram's favourite millennial Hailey Baldwin kept it simple in a sequin LBD, and yet made a major statement.
You can literally take any little black dress off the rack. This strappy one, for instance, cost Rs 1,056.
