The brain (or menu master) behind Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt's flab to fab makeovers, nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar is a fave with every foodie, mostly becasue of her traditional approach to diets. Diwekar advocates sticking to Indian roots by retaining ghee, rice and jaggery in one's meals — ingredients that are often demonised by fitness practitioners.
Sounds like your dream fitness expert? Well, too bad. Diwekar seems to have less success with regular people, it seems. She says, "It's harder to work with other people because they could take longer to fall into a routine." Oh well! There may be many shreds of truth in that one.
She explains, "Celebrities and social media are the reasons why I could achieve success. The easiest thing to do for me is to work with celebrities. They're hardworking, committed and understand why they should eat what they're advised to."
Point taken. We wonder if there's anyone out there with supreme self-control when it comes to food who can change her mind? Till then, we all have been put out in the cold with our plates of junk food.
