How many times have you looked at a female actor gracing a magazine cover and lusted after her porcelain skin and felt bad about the blemishes on yours? And the feeling gets worse when you are not feeling that great about yourself, or life in general thanks, to the monster that's PMS (premenstrual syndrome).

Yes, that time of the month when your stomach feels bloated, your skin breaks out and you feel like the Hulk has overtaken your personality. "Why can't we have clear skin like Bollywood stars?" we question the universe, in anger and despair.

But girls, celebs aren't blessed with satiny smooth skin as we think they are. And PMS is as problematic a period for them as it is for us. Talking about the issue is Sonam Kapoor, who, earlier this year, had opened up about colour correction with a selfie that broke the Internet.

The 33-year-old Veere Di Wedding actor was going through the usual pain that PMS brings. But instead of hiding her breakouts, Sonam took to Instagram and shared a video where she showed her 13.8 million followers that like any other girl going through PMS, she, too, has to battle an irritating pimple right in the middle of her forehead.

Along with the video, Sonam wrote, "Perils of PMS! During the climax that too!!!! (sic)." Take a look at Sonam's Instagram story below:

As mentioned, Sonam earlier had shared a colour correction selfie, which showed her using an orange concealer around her eyes, lips and nose. More power to you Sonam, for breaking the myths we have around celebs' beauty, for showing us that celebrities are not perfect as we think them to be.

On the professional front, the actor will be next seen in Shelly Chopra Dhar's directorial Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The movie also features Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
