Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Deepika Padukone follow the middle part

International runways have been experimenting with the middle-parted hair for a while now. And it looks like our Bollywood ladies aren't hiding the fact that they love the trend too

Slick updos, deconstructed chignons, bedhead hair trends were all over the runway this season. What stood out was the way hair experts played with the parting. Philip Lim, Christopher Kane, Anna Sui, among others, played with centre-parted hair and brought it back into the limelight. Wear it slick, messy, beach-wavy, opt for a straight blowout or a tousled do. The middle parting is truly back from the rut, and proving the point that it's anything but boring.

Take a cue from our Bollywood ladies who have clearly turned out to be the biggest fans of this hair trend.

Sonam Kapoor

She keeps it loose, wavy and simple. A sharp mid-part and curling tongs do the rest of the magic. The curls lend the hairstyle a vintage vibe.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi opts for a straight blow dry and tucks some strands behind her ears to complete her boardroom look.

Deepika Padukone

A slick updo without any flyaways makes her red carpet look stand out. The middle-parting seals her statuesque outfit.

Shraddha Kapoor

Her middle-part is an international ramp rendition—a little tousled towards the shoulders and matted around the crown area.

She can't get over this trend. Almost every other event sees her turn up with mid-part. Here, she pins the side locks at the back and keeps the rest of her hair loose.
