Fashion is cyclic, and sometimes brands try really hard to bring back and validate the mistakes they made in the name of a throwback. But the important question remains — who's buying it?

Recently, iconic British brand Alexander McQueen tried to pull a throwback featuring a completely non-functional accessory from its Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. Sadly, the attempt to bring back the pearl ring finger glove turned out to be a complete failure. And the only thing that came along was a series of comments taking potshots at the fashion house.

While some Netizens totally dismissed these palm-less gloves as 'weird' or 'finger condoms', a few thought they are cool. In less than 24 hours, the post had gone viral and the debate on the utility of this accessory is still on with endless comments.
