If you live in Delhi or are planning to visit the city this weekend, there are good times in store for you. And make that good food times if you love to eat. The two-day Delhi Food Truck Festival is here, and is all set to kickstart in the capital on November 11 at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium.
The business of food trucks, already a rage in Delhi NCR, is multiplying in other metros as well. To facilitate young and promising food truck entrepreneurs, and give them a platform to showcase their F&B skills to the audience at large, DFTF was launched in April this year. "The festival is the biggest in the country. This edition will see mouthwatering and sumptuous cuisines from across the globe from more than 40 food truck brands, over 30 F&B stalls, a mega bar, and an exclusive sheesha lounge. There will also be interesting games, fun activities and live music form some of the best singers and bands," says Abhishek Deo, founder and festival director at DFTF.
Making the food tastier will be a yummy musical feast served by singer KK, the band Euphoria and DJ Anish Sood.
The fest boasts of cuisines from America, Italy, China and, of course, India. Some of the participating food truck brands include:
That's not all. There will also be live performances by well-known bands, including Knox Artiste, Zikr Band, DJ Basspatch, Bollywood Brothers and Mankirt Aulakh.
The fest will be open between 2pm and 10pm on Saturday and Sunday, and entry tickets worth Rs 249 per person are available at Paytm and Insider.in
