It’s that time of the year again when all the roads lead to Nagaland for the Hornbill Festival. Fashion, food, culture and music — that's what the Hornbill Festival in Nagaland is all about and this year, the event got off to a grand start with a performance by singer KK yesterday.

Singer Kailash Kher as well as Indie bands such as Boomerang, the Incipit and Polar Lights and EDM acts such as Delhi2Dublin and DJ Freeaatmah are also slated to perform at the do.

In fact, this year the festival is attempting to carve a niche in the Limca Book of Records with a beatboxing championship. PB Acharya, the governor of Nagaland, said, “Nagaland is a land of festivals and as such we have to promote our rich culture and tradition through festivals to boost tourism in the state.”

So, if you want to save yourself the FOMO, we suggest you pack up your tents and head to Nagaland.
