Painting your nails in solid hues is passé. And, if you thought you'll have to book a salon appointment for funky 3D nails, we have the perfect inspo. Artists at the California based Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquer recently created a gorgeous look for fashion house Rodarte and we can't even.
Flowers extending over the nail bed were applied on muted, shimmering nail paint and decorated with simple painted flowers down the fingers. We get it, the style is a tad unwearable for a girl-on-the-go but you can totally rock the art with a simple do-it-yourself project. All you need to DIY the look at home is to take tiny pressed flowers, lay them flat on your nail and secure with a coat of clear nailpolish.
We were honored to do the nail looks for @rodarte's Paris Haute Couture show earlier today! Lead artist, @luxebytracylee created this magical nail look using shade Sugar Fix, with painted daisies on the nails and down two fingers using shade All White Now. @swarovski crystals were added for a little extra bling and live flowers were added to the nails and fingers for a touch more of whimsical romance. 🌸🌸🌸 #MTnailedparis #MorganTaylor #runwaynails
Manicurist Park Eunkyung also took the floral nail art with dried flowers for gorgeous 3D nails.
And if you like whipping up gel manicures for your talons, why not sass 'em up with pressed flora like this custom art.
