Mush is in the air, and as crazy as it may sound, some of your furry friends might just help find you love today. The second season of #FurrentinesDate kicks off today on Valentine's Day in Mumbai. For those wondering what's it all about, #FurrentinesDate is aimed to create awareness and drive adoption of cats and dogs. It's like speed dating that will see the furry ones play Cupid by bringing together animal lovers to celebrate their love for pets and abandoned strays, and help them find love in the process. Aww!

#FurrentinesDay, a Romedy Now initiative, will be held at Cat Café Studio today, and it will see 15 girls and 15 boys, sharing a love for animals, bond over coffee, conversations and cute cats (yes, doggos won't be digging around for some love this year), which are in need of a loving home. The event will be streamed live to an audience of over 1.5 million on Romedy Now’s Facebook page.

#FurrentinesDay, launched last year in association with People for Animals, redefines the concept of love and encourages people to celebrate V-Day differently by celebrating love for animals, and thus securing a merrier future for them via adoption.

Talking about the initiative, Vivek Srivastava, executive vice-president and head, entertainment cluster at Times Network, says, “Love knows no boundaries. Following the success of #FurrentinesDay’ last year, we wanted to further promote the cause of adoption of animals and conceptualised #FurrentinesDate, where animals play Cupid in bringing together like-minded animal lovers. We are confident that coffee over conversations and cute cats will be an unforgettable experience.”
