The British royal family is totally warming up to an economical way of life (what with Brexit and all). The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, is basically the queen of wearable fast fashion, which she also recycles like a pro. And the hottest new royal on the block, Meghan Markle, also favours budget-friendly makeup essentials. An E! News report revealed what Meghan has in her makeup kit, and you can totally have all of it in yours too.
"I don't wear foundation in real life. My routine is very simple — I call it the five-minute face. It's just curled lashes, mascara, chap stick, and a little bit of blush. That is my favourite kind of look," Meghan told Allure.
The 35-year-old actor-philanthropist uses a luminous oil, which can be used on both hair and body. And it costs just Rs 1,049. We are not joking.
While Meghan is not a fan of foundation, she does opt for a moisturising primer, which costs Rs 2,566. Yes, it's a bit steep, but she's gonna be a Princess — gotta splurge on the skin.
Meghan is naturally freckled, and her makeup stylist Min Min Ma takes extra care to deal with her skin. "Meghan has naturally gorgeous skin, so I do very light skin makeup to ensure her freckles remain visible and use a bit of under-eye concealing," she tells E1. For highlighting, Meghan uses something that might be on your makeup table already. The very essential highlighting skin from Yves Saint Laurent. It costs Rs 2,499, but it works like magic.
The future royal however is pretty big on blush, and goes for the trusty French beauty label Nars. Meghan's shade is called Orgasm (*cough*) and it costs Rs 1,933.
In case you haven't noticed, Meghan is a total smokey eye addict, unlike her future sis-in-law Kate (who's more minimal chic). For her eyes, Meghan opts for American luxe brand Nordstrom's Chanel Cassis Eyeliner, which costs around Rs 2,120.
For her lips, Meghan always trusts a lip treatment balm with SPF 15. "I have searched high and low and tried every kind of lip balm but this is the very best. I swear by it," said the actor.
