We just can't get Ed Sheeran to be excited about his Game of Thrones cameo. A Grammy Award winner in the biggest TV show of the decade, is sure to be a thrill ride for all the GoT-nerds and Ed-heads, but the Ginger Brit will have you believe that his role in GoT is just "not exciting".

"I haven't seen it yet! I just know the scene I did, I did it with Maisie (Williams), and it's decent. I like it. Nothing exciting happens in this scene, we just have a conversation and that's kind of it," quoted Sheeran as saying. It was announced in April that he had filmed a cameo for the hit HBO series, as a surprise for actor Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark in the show.

Sheeran also admitted that he feels his cameo "has been built up too much". "People will just be like, 'Oh... oh, all right'. It's not an integral part of it, at all. I'm just like, in it," he said. We wish, Ed would just be a little more pumped up. C'mon, it's GoT.

The seventh season of the fantasy series will begin airing on July 16 in the US. It will premiere in India on Star World and Star World HD two days later.
