Apart from inking Sanskari Alok Nath (Whodathunkit!), the brothers have also given tattoos to celebs such as John Abraham, Aamir Khan for Dhoom 3, Anushka Sharma for Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola, Priyanka Chopra for Pyaar Impossible, MS Dhoni and Shah Rukh Khan. So, check out their body art forecast for the year to get inspired.
Hyper-realistic tattoos: when the ink gets real
As the name suggests, this is all about making art look alive on your skin. Want to pay homage to your pet or get a tattoo of your favourite flower? Then, this is your jam.
Geometric tattoos: Maths never looked this beautiful, tbh
These structural designs started making quite some noise during the last year itself and it’s only going to get bigger, say the Malanis. “Geometric tattoo art forms do not only include circles and squares; artists are so innovative that they can transform pandas in geometric form,” says Vikas.
Mandala drawings: Wearing spirituality on your body
If you gasped for air at the sight of the intricate patterns on Buddhist Tankhas and ancient art, this is your deal. “It is, of course, a beautiful art form but it also talks a lot about the spiritual aspect of your life,” says Mickey Malani.
Watercolour tattoos: Hello art, meet your body
Be it your favourite painting or just to add more character to your design, water colour style tattoos look gorgeous and colourful. Vikas says, “This does not just prove that your artist is highly creative but also tells that you have amazing taste in tattoo art.” Oh well! Guess which one of these will be our next.
