Circa 2000: A light-eyed boy wonder, who goes by the name of Hrithik Roshan, happened to Indian cinema. And 18 years later, history is about to repeat itself with Zain Khan Durrani all set to debut in Onir's Kuch Bheege Alfaaz.

Too much? Well, if you have seen the trailer of film, and the lovely rendition of Aamir Khan's Pehla Nasha, you'd know we're not exaggerating.

Zain, who plays a closet-poet in this romantic film, is a poet himself, but not one in the closet. The only thing more striking than his chiselled jawline (which is so sharp, it could cut glass) is his baritone.

We got him to take our really random (and somewhat raunchy) rapid fire. And here's what he had to say:

Tell us about your first crush...

That was in the ninth standard. I could never muster the courage to tell her. It took me six months to write a letter to her and put all my feelings to words, but I couldn't give it to her. Like the movie Sixth Sense, I was very insecure about a lot of things back then, and I was pretty shy. I have been trying to locate her for the last five years now, but haven't been able to do that either. I hope she's happy though.

A female actor you have a crush on, and would love to be cast opposite?

See I've always loved Waheeda Rehman, but now being cast opposite her is something I can't even imagine. I'd like to work with her, though, someday.

What if it's a mature love story, would you want to be cast opposite her then?

I see what you're doing there (laughs)... Aaah, you know what, yes. Waheeda Rehman it is. Fine, I've said it, I have a crush on her.

What attracts you to a woman?

Kindness. A beautiful woman who is kind as well is the most attractive thing in the world.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done for love? Like storming through the airport and yelling someone's name?

Writing a six-month love letter counts, right?

Nope, it doesn't. You didn't give it to her.

Aaahh. Okay. So, I did fly down to a different city just like that to catch a couple of hours with the person.

What do you think women find attractive in you?

I am not sure about this one, but I'd like to imagine the fact that I'm kind, a very romantic person at heart and a poet is pretty attractive.

Your craziest fantasy?

To be able to woo Cleopatra, but then I'd have to be born in her era. Or even Marilyn Monroe. Actually, I have another one. If there's ever a remake of Pyaasa, I'd like to play the role of Guru Dutt. And then, I could be cast opposite Waheeda Rehman (wink).

If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

I'd go to those places where couples usually go for dates and hide their phones so that they can concentrate on each other more. Like a new-age Cupid (laughs).

What's the craziest place you've ever made out in?

I'm not going to tell you that...

You just have to tell me the place, not what happened!

I can't.. I'm sorry. Oh god! Okay.. does the parking lot count?

Three most favourite classic romantic films?

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, I know it is a cliché, but I love that movie. Then, Before Sunset. Actually no, Before Sunrise, and Sweet November.
