This Avengers 4 title makes sense the most Image: Marvel Studios
It has been a while since Thanos decimated our fave Avengers and half of humanity to see that wishful sunrise upon the grateful universe. Arrgh! We hated the guy while we understood why he did what he did. We're a understanding bunch of folks, guys.
But when Avengers: Infinity War ended, we were left in panic mode, seeing what the 10-year-long wait led to. Seriously, Russo Bros?!
The wait for the fourth film releasing in 2019, which is a culmination of sorts, immediately began as the end credits rolled. And ever since, we've been playing Guess The Fourth Film's Title.
Russo Brothers have time and again hinted that the name would be a spoiler for the third Avengers movie. But the third one came and went, and they still haven't made the title reveal – why, though? From Avengers: Dissemble to Avengers: Assemble to Avengers: Forever, there are many names floating around. But, we think we finally know the title.
The Avengers cinematographer, Trent Opaloch, updated his resume on his website and added Avengers: End Game in his body of work along with the other films that he's worked on. Whooaa!
Fans basically flipped when they learnt about the reveal.
Soon after, he made the edit and made it Avengers 4. Did he get a call from S.H.I.E.L.D to do so? We think he did.
But some of them also debated why it wouldn't be titled that cuz one of the Russo Brothers, in an interview, had said that the title of the film has no mention of it in Infinity War. But we know Dr Strange's End Game reference, don't we?
So, is it or is it not Avengers: End Game? We think it is. It makes sense the most. And the fact that the cinematographer of the film, and not just some random person, made the reveal and edited it, confirms our suspicions.
*croons Taylor Swift's End Game* *we know it's totally unrelated* *but we don't care*
